Prayer update/going across the border

We wrote the following email this morning travelling down from Waco, Texas
to McAllen. We went over the international bridge into Mexico about 6:30
PM, but had to come back due to some paperwork that we still need. Please
pray that the Lord would allow us to obtain the right things tomorrow and be
able to get over. Mike

Dear Prayer partners,

Well, we are so thankful that the Lord allowed our van to be fixed! I know
that you will be happy to hear that the Lord moved a couple, the Storms,
from one of our supporting churches in Houston to cover the cost of the
transmission AND they wanted us to put on new tires! We are also very
grateful to Jack and Mollie Lee for housing us for the whole time that the
transmission was being fixed. That was no small feat!

We are now on the road again and headed for the border. Yesterday we called
the Zartmans to let them know that we were finally coming---and Mrs. Zartman
said that there were big roadblocks in Reynosa set up by the drug cartels
because they were upset that a couple of drug members had been killed. Memo
from our church also wrote to warn us. Evidently he heard about it on the
Mexican news. So we began our trip this morning from Waco, Tx. We now need
to get down to the border and across----and then go the three hours to the
Zartmans in Monterrey before dark for safety reasons. Then on Friday we
need to drive the last remaining 10 hours to Mexico City. However, we can't
arrive before 10 pm because we cannot drive in the city limits on Friday.
That is our day not to circulate.

Thank you for praying for us!

In Christ,
Mike, Faith, Mikey, Cristi, Carissa, Matthew, Cheri, and Cara Goldfuss
