Dear Prayer Partners,

 

Church update:

 

1.  Praise The Lord for two new families that have come.  Alberto and Connie with their little son Issac have asked for help with their son, want to be baptized, and seem to want to be a part of our church family.

 

2.  A man has been discouraged when he sins.  While this is good, he seems to be trusting in his own power for victory instead of trusting in Christ.  He swings from mountain tops to deep valleys.  Since he has been a leader, this has really affected the church.

 

3.  Fransico still meets with Mike on Wednesdays.  Pray for his salvation.

 

4.  A mother who left her family has returned after two months, and has been coming with her family.  Pray for true repentance and true restoration with her family.

 

5.  Laura, Nico's daughter, has been at church the last two weeks and has shown signs of conviction.  Please pray for her salvation--- and also for her little daughter, Jennifer's salvation as well.

 

6.  The Lord allowed me to be able to open a non- profit bookstore/ gift shop at the church this week.  We are charging the discount prices that we get as missionaries, and the people are thrilled.  The ladies are making some of the gifts and donating these items so that the profit of those items will go toward buying more books!  The people are using the items as gifts for unsaved relatives and friends to help them come to Christ.

 

Sunday was full!  Praise The Lord

 

 

On the home front:

1.    Carissa and Matthew played in their last games do the season.  Carissa's team placed third, and Matt's team placed second in a very close game.

2.  Grades for high school AHE need to be in by Friday.

3.  The girls are celebrating the end of school by making crafts.  Some are for the new bookstore.

4.  All the kids are sleeping out in our tent in the yard with Shadow to protect them!

5.  Cheri got a horrible infection in her mouth---  Antibiotics and the whole nine yards.

6.  AND on Monday night, I got stopped by the police AGAIN at no fault of mine own---only for being a blonde.  I had just cashed all of our money for the month, so Carissa hid it.   I had all of the girls in the car, and they wouldn't let me go--- saying that something was expired--which wasn't so.  He asked me where I lived, and I told him where and that my husband was a pastor. He then THREW all my papers at me like they were on fire and said ---GO!  Cristi and I were amazed because that never worked before, but we were thankful again for God's protection.
