Goldfuss update

Dear Prayer Partners,

Thank you for praying!  As always, the Lord is good!

Sunday was a special blessing.  The message was refreshing on the gospel, we had 5 visitors, and there was an excellent spirit among all who came to worship the Lord.  On Sunday evening, the wife of the family who left called to ask for prayer.  She also asked that all would pray that she would be submissive to her husband---as this whole situation is very difficult for her and her children.

Please pray for upcoming events:

1.  Men's work day

2.  Ladies work day

3.  VBS---August 6-9th

Our family would appreciate your prayers as various ones will be traveling.  On Saturday the 6th, Mikey, Matt, and Cheri will travel to Cleveland to go to Camp Peniel.  The same day Cara and I (Faith) will go to PA to visit my parents.  My mom is turning 80!  My sister is coming from FLA and my brother who lives in PA will also be there.  Cara, Matt, Cheri, and I will all return to Mexico City on July 15th.  Matt and Cheri will be returning by themselves as Mikey will stay to counsel another week and then stay for his Week of camp.  He will be in Ohio for a month total.

THEN on the 18th, Cristi and Carissa will go up for their week of camp and Mikey will accompany them home.

Mikey (son 17) has been very busy organizing VBS to have it under control before he leaves as he is arriving the day before it starts!

Mike is staying home and holding down the fort.

Please pray for wisdom for him as he leads the church, preaches, and counsels many different dear people.  (As a small example, just yesterday he was approached by a man (50) and a girl (20) about getting married.  We never seem to have any boring ho-hum cases.)  J

**Vehicle update---Mike can do nothing about the van situation right now as our resident papers are processing.  He cannot stop the processing or change it in any way.  When the papers come through, then we can apply for a special permission to take the van up to the border to sell it.  How long will all of this take?  No one knows.  The processing may take a couple of months and then the acceptance of the special permission to allow us to take the van to the border may also take some time.  We appreciate your prayers for wisdom and grace.

The Lord commands us not to be concerned about it.  So, we cast our cares on Him, for He cares for us.  He will take care of everything in His perfect timing.

Thank you so much for praying!

Faith

Hope you can get the vehicle thing worked out! We're dealing with the visa thing too, although not in the same situation as you. Keep asking different people and you may still find more (legal) options! :)

Thanks Jim. I still have a few things that I can check.
