Goldfuss update

Dear Prayer Partners,

Praises:

1.  Mike returned safely on Thursday night to a very happy family!  He flew back, but the van is not sold yet.  A very kind family at our supporting church in Houston is trying to sell it for us.

2.  Jon preached Wednesday night and today for Mike.  It was a big blessing for all!

Prayer Requests:

1.  I (Faith), along with Mikey, Cristi and Carissa, are flying to BJ for their "college up close" days.  The Lord allowed us to get pretty good tickets to Atlanta.  From there I will be renting a car to drive to Greenville.   Our traveling days are October 1-7th.

2.  If you would pray especially for the driving part of the trip.  Mike wasn't real keen about my driving.  From driving in the world's largest city, I have the crazy driving down pat.  However, since we have so much traffic, we hardly ever go faster than 45 miles per hour.  Pray that I will adjust quickly to the speed increase on the freeways.  It should be easier as there won't be as many cars to hit as there are here in Mexico City—at least, once we get out of Atlanta.

3.  Lourdes' son, Mauricio, lives in La Paz---which is on the other side of Mexico.  (Lourdes is a faithful member of our church).  Mauricio and Mike have corresponded for a number of years, and Mauricio downloads and listens to a good number of our church’s messages.  He has a real burden for a Biblical church in his area. Pray for Mauricio, his encouragement, and guidance from the Scriptures.

4.  Pray for the Crockers’ continued search for a home.  They have two good possibilities, but the process has been painstakingly slow for them.

Thank you so much for reading and praying.

In Christ,

Faith
