Dear Prayer Partners,
Praises:
1. Good youth meeting two Saturdays ago.
2. Jorge and Ceci are staying!!!! This is such a big praise! He was able to find a teaching job through December. We are so thankful! We continue to pray for the Lord's will for them to return to Peru to serve the Lord in his perfect timing.
3. Jon and Andrea Crocker are coming to Mexico today for good. J We are privileged to have them staying in our cabin until they can find housing. The church people already have a list of contacts of family and friends that live in the area where they intend by God’s grace to start a church. My friend from gymnastics lives 2 streets away from where they are planning to serve The Lord. She has a friend that has a beautiful house to rent. Please pray for the Lord’s hand in getting them the home that will be perfect for their ministry. Just this morning we talked with a young girl who attended our church for several years but lives very far from us now. Jon and Andrea's location would be closer for her and her family to attend because it is close to the subway. So we are thankful to have a part in getting them settled in and ready for ministry!
4. Real interest and progress in 2 young girls' lives as they are seeking to serve in being assistants in the children’s Sunday school class. The first one did an excellent job on Sunday.
Prayer requests
1. Two families struggling in their marriage.--One new family and one main family.
2. Growth and maturity of believers.
3. Tere's family--- her grandson 19 years old has been under the threat of being kidnapped. Her daughter may move away with him to protect him. (If you are confused, so are we. J )
4. Direction for Mikey regarding his decision of a major in college.
5. Continued prayer for a meeting with the men with the father of the family that left. Pray for restoration.
6. Mike is planning a trip to the border with Jason and Danielle Boyle at the end of the month with the purpose of selling the van. (If you remember, now that we are Mexican residents, we are not allowed to have our American van).
We thank you so much for taking the time to read and pray for us and the sweet people that the Lord has allowed us to serve. We depend upon your prayers.
